Paladins
Paladins are not a single guild, as there are paladins within each of the 12 religions of Threshold. They are holy warriors who are fanatically devoted to their religion, and they work along with clerics and monks of their church to spread the word and empower the faithful of their religion. To become a paladin, one must do more than simply choose this path in life. A special ordination ceremony must be performed by a ranking High Priest, High Priestess, or Paladin in order for a fighter worshiper to obtain this rank and position within the church. The path of Paladinhood is one of extreme devotion and faithfulness. It is not for the weak of spirit or wavering in dedication.
