Side point: Since you're obviously keeping stats of that, this month, would it be possible to publish a ranking of populous churches? It'd be cool to know just where the tiny churches all fall, because I know each one will have at least a couple of active members.

this is understandable..Keep it simple..

my only thought is if someone is playing a second in one church
and then logs on their other that has not been played for a long time all of a sudden, just to add one more to the multiplier of the church on their heals seems wrong..

I would have thought an Active player would be one logged on a certain amount of hours this month

Again, give that person a reason to login for more than just a second. If they are actively playing, then do things in your church to give people a reason to be online more. Hold events, meetings, services, whatever. Get your fellow churchmates online and doing things - especially things that will contribute to your religion's dominance.

Hope that helps!

I love how this is set up and am having a blast with this competition! It's a great feeling seeing that a small group of dedicated people can really make a difference!

I've got a couple questions about this, with the end of this contest coming up.

1)Does it end at Midnight EST, or some other time on the 31st

2)Will there be a full list of the final placements with (or without) points, at some point when the contest closes?

I don't know about everyone else, but I'm quite curious to know how close the churches were to each other at the close of this.

I would also love to see some raw data along with comprehensive rankings. I basically ran through most of this contest with only the most general of clues as to how the standings played themselves out given the ranking methods.

All shrank, like boys who unaware,
Ranging the woods to start a hare,
Come to the mouth of the dark lair
Where, growling low, a fierce old bear
Lies amidst bones and blood.
